Who we are
AskedSEO (askedseo.com) is published by Vincent Forat, a sole trader (micro-entreprise) registered in France under SIREN 910 555 010. He is responsible for your data. You can reach him at hello@askedseo.com.
What we collect
When you ask for a free audit, we collect the site address you type and the language of the page you used.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and the details your sign in method gives us.
When you pay, Stripe collects your payment details. We never see or store your card number.
Our servers also process technical data such as your IP address and browser type, to run and protect the service.
How we use it
We use your site address to run your audit, and the email address of your account to contact you about your account. We do not sell your data.
Who processes it for us
Cloudflare hosts the service and stores its data. Google processes the questions we send to produce the audit, which can include your site address. Stripe handles payments.
We use no other processor to run the service. Emails you send to hello@askedseo.com are received and stored by our email provider, Spacemail (Spaceship, Inc.).
Cookies
We use a cookie to keep you signed in after you create an account.
We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe sets its own cookies on its payment and billing pages, under its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep audit requests and audit reports for up to 24 months, so the private link to your audit keeps working. Then we delete them, with the one-way hash of the IP address we use to limit free audits.
We keep your account data while your account is open. When you ask us to close it at hello@askedseo.com, we delete it within 30 days.
We keep billing records for 10 years, as French accounting law requires.
Your rights
If you live in Europe, you can ask us for access to your data, a correction, a copy or deletion, and you can object to how we use it. Write to hello@askedseo.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
We will update this page when something changes and change the date at the top.
